With all the sights to see and places to explore, it is the perfect opportunity to spend time with the ones you love, explore the beauty of the world’s fifth-largest national park, and have some much-needed rest and relaxation. Besides the grand hiking, biking, and water experiences, I created a guide for those who are interested in see what there is to sip on locally. Jasper, Alberta is a small town in Jasper National Park. Many Travelers stop by, and I enjoy letting everyone I meet know the best places to eat and drink. In this article, I tell you about my top 5 Must Try Cocktails in town. Trust me, you'll love it. Lets “sip” into it!

The Raven Bistro: Espresso Martini

The espresso martini is a cold caffeinated drink made with espresso, coffee liqueur and vodka. it is not a true martini as it contains neither gin nor vermouth, but it is serve in a martini glass. The Raven does an excellent job in getting enough foam into the glass, and the finished drink is perfect to the sip.

Downstream: Old Fashion

As classic as a cocktail can get, with origins from 1806, this drink didn't gain popularity until 1880. Downstream has the largest collection of Whiskey and Bourbon in the Jasper Town, so they are the best in offering great classics. Perfectly balanced bitters. Happy Hour starts at 9pm and is the best spot for night drinks and meet ups.

Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge: Smoked Old Fashion

This luxurious take on the Classic Cocktail is a must try if visiting the national park. Presentation is absolutely stunning. Worth the high price point.

Jasper Brew Pub - Negroni

Known for it's Local Craft Beer, It was to my surprise that the Negroni is a Jasper Gem. The Negroni is an Italian cocktail. This simple Gin classic is well balanced and flavorful. So next time you are out for a pint, give the Negroni a try. I hope it gives you a pleasant surprise as well.

Earls - Coconut Margarita

Spiced beautiful and garnished with fresh ingredient, Earls has the best Margaritas in the Town. Visit them on a Monday for 50% margaritas, it is well worth the visit in their recently renovated space.

Thankyou for reading our list of 5 Must Try Cocktails. I included my personal favourites, after living here a couple of month. It was tricky due to bars slowly opening up due to the pandemic, however I am confident you will love my selection. Follow us for more local eats and drinks, as well as events that I will be hosting.
